The chipettes are basically the female counterparts to the better known trio of chipmunks formed by Alvin, Simon and Theodore. Despite that, their 80s selves have some differences, Brittany is bossier than Alvin, Jeanette is clumsier than Simon and Eleanor is braver than Theodore.
